As we have already taken the aquaero powerbooster in stock to offer a possibility to increase the power output of the aquaero, we now wish to introduce another expansion module. This module is based on the operational amplifier L165 which was already used by many users to increase the power output of fan channels. This amplifier has a power connector of its own and therefore des not burden the aquastream or aquaero. Up to 3.5A can be drawn which has allowed us the flawless operation of a Laing DDC-1T plus.

The limiting factor of this solution is the voltage drop of approx. 1,5-2V which is caused by the technical principle of this amplifier. Therefore the full voltage of 12V cannot be supplied to the outputs which is possible with the aquaero and aquastream XT due to much more complex output stages. The amplifier has a filtered input and optimal factor of amplification to reduce oscillation and to increase efficiency.
